Someone at work this morning told me that the critics are ripping it apart.

If that's true.....I'm very disappointed....I was looking forward to seeing it.

Critics hate Michael Bay. It's as simple as that. They hate the fact that this guy makes $500 million or more each time he cranks out a movie with CGI and explosions instead of an actual plot with some deeper meaning/purpose. You shouldn't let them sway you.

So long as you don't go into this movie expecting Gone with the Wind, and you like his other movies, I'm sure you'll probably like this one.

Well, that kills it. MORE than the last one? It was the awkward, inappropriate "humor" from the first one that just about sank it for me. If it weren't for the cool robots, that movie would have sucked. Good thing it had the robots. I still can't shake hearing Jazz say, "What's kickin' b****es." Man, that was stupid.

I'm VERY disappointed to hear there is MORE of that crap in the 2nd. Please tell me you're joking.

Terrible is an understatement. Though they are showing the second one at work today, so technically im gonna be paid to watch it, though perhaps ill nap. I cant stand movies that never concentrate on character and story. The first was painful if you ask me

I refuse to give Michael Bay any money. The guy can't direct a good movie if his life depended on it.

I was furious that Soundwave was not a part of the first movie. That's just blatant negligence for an awesome character.

Please tell me that was remedied.

I won't give any spoilers here, but I can confirm that he's definitely in this one.

I really liked The Island.
Armageddon and the Rock were also decent for what they were.

I'm coming to terms with that.....you should see some of the stuff netflix recommends for me. Half of it appears like this:

Member average: one star
Our best guess for you based off past rankings (1,200 and counting): four stars

IMO Bruckheimer had more of a impact on those, and not in a good way. Armageddon, The Rock and Con Air were all very simular.

Funny, we joked around about all that stuff she wouldn't do to you when I was in bed with her last night doing all those things.
