If we end up trading Marshall, which it looks like we will, how many do we win?
I say 5... |

If we trade him for picks...I say we go 6-10 (I'm a homer for life)
If we trade him for a player who will log significant time on defense...we go 8-8. That's right. |

the Broncos will go 11-5 with or without him.
so let it be written, so let it be done. WINS: @CIN, CLE, @OAK, DAL, NE, @BAL, @WAS, SD, @KC, OAK, KC or you can think of it this way... - sweep KC - sweep OAK - split with SD - beat 3 likely inferior teams (CIN, CLE, WAS) - beat 2 likely superior teams in disarray (DAL, BAL) - win a game that's personal for McD (NE). ![]() Last edited by Gort; 06-16-2009 at 11:25 AM.. |

I think the question is how many games won't we lose. He cost us at least two games last season.

The Falcons also replaced one of the worst head coaches in the league with a pretty good one. We replaced one of the best head coaches in the league.

NO difference at all. Marshall is not a game winner. 200+ catches the last 2 seasons, Zero playoff appearences. I have as many career playoff receptions as Brandon Marshall.

you are a fool...lol wow are you serious with this take? Are you saying he caused us to lose games? It was that pathetic defense and terrible special teams along with costly turnovers. He was a big reason we did so well offensively.

Take an offense that moved the ball but had serious flaws last year, take away pro bowlers at QB and WR, add a raw but talented RB, and there's a large net loss.
You have a defense that hasn't added nearly as much talent as it needed to, and is trying to learn a new system. And that's really a dramatic thing when you're talking about converting linemen to LBs, etc. So even though there seems to be more talent there, I don't think that defense is much better this year. I say 3-5 wins. |

They had some Lindsay chick from the Denver Post on ESPN this morning who said even with Marshall this team would be hard pressed to win 4-6 games this year.
She said Denver should not trade him, they need to show a backbone. I thought they should have had the "White Flag" trade/firesale moving Marshall and Champ before the trade. Just think we could have got Ayers and 2 more top DLinemen! Now we are stuck with Cuter 2.0, the Whiney b**** who shouldn't drink because it makes him hit women and fall on McD' wrappers. |

Butt dumpling? Wow are you in 3rd or 4th grade? Here is what you said... "NO difference at all. Marshall is not a game winner." The question was asked how many games do we win if we trade Bmarsh...Well, you are saying he is not a winner, aka he doesn't help us win, so if he doesn't help us, then he is probably in your opinion replaceable, and I am saying you are a fool for thinking that we can just put in Chad Jackson's of the world and get equal produciton (stats and wins). WE ARE WORSE AS A TEAM W/O him and if you don't see that, well sir, you are a bigger butt dumpling or whatever you called me.

It completely depends what we get for him. If we get a player on par with Brandon's talents in a position of need (DL, WR, or maybe LB), I still think we can win 8 or 9 games this year.
If we only get draft picks, I think we are looking at 5 or 6 wins. When I write that, it looks ridiculous, as it is basically crediting Marshall with enabling us to win 3 additional games this year. However, our offense looks a hell of a lot worse to me without him helping Orton... |
