Who will be the best quarterback in college football during the 2009 season? Don't take NFL draft status into consideration.

You forgot Pat Devlin who transferred from PSU and will start at Delaware this year. A lot of PSU fans thought Devlin was better than Clark. Could succeed there just as Joe Flacco did.

I dont know if people are aware of this but Tebow was criticized a lot last year for spending his offseason in the Phillipines and not working on his game. After that and the various draft evaluations on him as a prospect, you might see some improvement or you might see a lot of improvement. Ive heard he has been more dedicated to football this offseason.
I wouldnt be surprised if Pryor has the best year though. |

I voted Bradford however I think your poll is slanted by design. Bradford is first and the names stands alone. You have to search for Tebow, McCoy and the others.

An omission from the list. Your vote will be counted as a write-in.

any election ballot supervisor will tell you that... i'm not saying your intentions weren't unfair....but anytime a person's name is far down the list, regardless of the reasoning behind it, that person is at a disadvantage in almost any voting scenario... |

Ha ha. I didn't vote for the best overall QB... that would be Tebow hands down.
I picked potentially the most exciting player in Rob Griffin III. The odds are against him but that guy has crazy athletic ability. |

College QB, no one QB does more for their offense in college then Tebow. If Meyer could come up with a way to pass the ball to the QB position then I'm not so sure that Tebow wouldn't put up massive receiving yards that rival his usual tally of passing/rushing numbers. He is the ideal college QB in the Spread Offense era of college football IMO.

However, in college that skill isnt as important as what you bring in the total package. Tebow's strength (other than his motivational and leadership abilities) is that he can get you 4 yards every time he runs the ball. |

After last years BCS Championship, how anyone can choose Stafford over Tebow is beyond me.

I really, really like Griffin. He was an olympic-quality hurdler and he gave it up to concentrate on QB. He's fun to watch.

i know i am probably going to get **** for my pick, but i just feel that Clausen is in for a big year. Notre Dame has been getting somewhat overlooked and had a decen't recruiting class a couple years ago that should be getting ready to play pretty well. i think Clausen is going to surprise a lot of people
but i think Bradford, McCoy and Tebow will remain amongst the elite, but Clausen will be joining them |
