When my mother passed she came to me and let me know she was in a beautiful place and had come truly home, I hope your dad gives you a sign so you too will know your dad has found his peace. God Bless Spider. |

This is one of life's hardest experiences IMO for any son who loved his dad. I'm a mess all over again because it reminds me of when I lost my dad. Christmas night 2005 of all nights.
I can't say anything to make Spider feel better. Nothing can do that IMO. All I can say is for those of you whose dads are still alive call him today and schedule some time with him. I don't care where you are, where he is, how busy you are, get it friggin done, and then do it again and again every chance you get. I was lucky enough to spend the night before it happened and sit on the back porch throwing down a few beers. Told him that night that I loved him. A lot of advice from people you have never met is all B.S and worthless, but if your dad is alive I would seriously consider reading the posts of those of us who have lost their dads. |
