what do you guys think? Think Ill wait a couple weeks before headin up there, but Im itchin to go play some real blackjack and check out how the Texas Hold Em bonus table game has changed.

Let me know what that game is like, I want to know. I know its supposedly the "worst table game" when it comes to odds, but Ive won at least 50 every time Ive played that game except once.

Went up yesterday. The tourneys blow balls. Big chip stacks with small blind times..as always its a shove fest in the end.

Gilpin was spreading 3-6 and 4-8 They had a interest list for 5-10. Didnt play cash there. Played a little BJ there and made half my buy in back from the tourney. They have 1 craps table and a roulette table.

Played BJ at Riveria..be aware the dealer stays on any 17, which sucks. I do think they losened up thier slots and video poker here, as it seemed easier to win. If you dont have a players card here yet, get one. 30 points will get you a free buffet, which is like $2 in the slot machine.

The Heartland Poker Tour was running at Gates, so it was pretty packed..they put there craps and table games right outside the poker room, so the craps table was 3 deep..didnt stick around there for too long.

Ameristar- played poker here. They were spreading 1-2-100; 2-20; 4-8 with a half kill; interest list for 20-40.

I played 1-2-100, which is really 1-2 NL, as the $100 cap never came into play. Pretty fun game, with normal raises being $8-$12. I'm sure its more maniac on the weekends. The normal 5-5 maniacs stick to limit where they can suck out. The 5-5 maniacs get REALLY pissed when you come over the top for like $75...pretty funny.

Dealer told me they are running a $20-$40 game with a full kill at The Lodge, with a min $1k buy-in and it has run 3-4 days since the stakes went up. That is a massive game for CO. I'd love to hear some 5-5 maniac yelling 'cap it' on that game.

Do you know good deals for the hotels? I want to stay up there Friday Sept 18th and play the action as the Heartland is back up there. Cheapes was Capri for $119. Got to be better than that!

Not sure..check Fortune Valley, ( I know they are advertising the most comps in Colorado now) and I think Ameristar may have the 'soft' opening of the giant hotel by then. (I think the Grand Opening is in Oct). Probably the best you are going to find with the lack of rooms up there.

Its really busy late up there now...lots of people staying up there

if you are going to spam, pick a better place. Are you placing a "bomb" as you are trying to hide it?
