I don't know wtf that guy was thinking.

p.s. fedor is the best heavyweight in the world (youtube the fight against choi, it's effin awesome), hopefully they figure out a way to set up a fedor/lesnar fight so the critics will be silenced.

The best part is Jose comes out, hit's him with everything he's got in an overhand right, and choi barely flinches. You know he was just thinkin...****.

If you say so.... last fight was against Danny Bonaduci, who came in 70-80 lbs lighter than Jose

That is to draw interest 1 and to get him some ring expirence. just because he is brock doesnt mean he deserves a shot at the title out of the gate.

Jose has no technique and they put him in with a muay thai fighter. if anyone has ever done any fighting they would know how dangerous muay thai fighters are in the ring.

Did canseco even do any training for that fight. knowing he would fight a guy with that style you would have thought they would have shown him how to block. and NEVER turn your back..

yes. Mir is a heavyweight submission specialist. He was champ in the UFC before his accident.

You should not even mention those two in the same sentence.

Kimbo was an Internet street fighting fraud....Lesnar is no fraud.

Lesnar was an awesome wrestler in college:

Lesnar won the 2000 NCAA wrestling championship as a heavyweight after placing second in 1999. Prior to joining the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Lesnar also wrestled at Bismarck State College in Bismarck, North Dakota.[3] Lesnar finished his amateur career as a two-time NJCAA All-American, 1998 NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion, and the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion with a record of 106-5 overall in four years of college.

Yeah I thought Lesnar was a joke too until I looked into his credentials a while back, pretty impressive. He's no fraud.

And that dude was massive Jose took on, can't say I'd have done any better

Lesnar is no joke.

Mir is no joke either though. Nogs is a pure technician and Mir beat him with ease. He's already beat Lesnar once as well, though Lesnar was getting the best of him until Mir caught an open leg and ended the fight with a knee bar. I think Lesnar will be more prepared for him next time around.

Speaking of next time around. I think it's the July 11th Fight Card... WOW!!! Some great fights. Lesnar vs Mir; St.Pierre vs Thiago Alves; BiatchBisping vs Dan Henderson; Marc Coleman vs Stephen Bonnar; John Fitch vs Paulo Thiago... hell even down the card you have some good fighters on the card. Guys like Mac Danzig, Jon "bones" Jones, Lawlor and Dolloway (matched up). I'm real interested to see how Jon Jones does. He beat Bonnar so he should be the real deal. Time will tell.

Also, how bout the news of Anderson Silva moving up in weight to fight former Light Heavy Champ, Forrest Griffin? Give Danna White credit, he's doing a pretty good job of matching guys up and that is taking care of the fight promoting on it's own!!!

well he lost to Mir and Randy is great and all but really .... dudes almost 50 and was looking for a cash out fight like that last hughes vs. gracie fight.

If Brock can't get the fight to the ground with top position he's fu$ked. I'm sure he's been training hard to get better but let's face it, He's a way for dana to draw in fans from the WWF.

college wrestling means little in the cage ...... I believe Chuck lidell was and all world type college wrestler and as you've seen the best he took from that was the sprawl. Don't get me wrong it's very good skill set to have but you need a little more to be "great"

If Brock could improve his hands I'd be more impressed. Some boxing to go with his size and wrestling ability would be a good combo for him.

Canseco lost cause he spent way too much time running back , Cant blame him , that Guy was a monster , but after Canseco watches film , he will see side to side movement and backing off to the Big guys left would have gave him a lot more angles and more opportunities , Not saying Canseco could have taken that Behemoth , but it would give Canseco a better chance

The age argument never will work for Randy. The guy has defied age more than any other athlete. He was a former heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. He held a belt at 44 I believe in the UFC...

Herring is no slack either.

Mir was getting dominated by Lesnar until a magical stand up occurred. Go back and watch that fight, not only is Lesnar not hitting him in the back of the head(Mir is turning) but when have you seen a ref stand a guy up after a rabbit punch?

I have seen virtually every UFC and have never seen that. Had the ref no stood him up, I believe his ground and pound would have destroyed Mir in a matter of seconds.

I think maybe you have a bias against a guy from WWE? I know many people like to think that because he was a wrestler that he can't be good in MMA, are you one of these?

Otherwise, I really have to respectfully disagree with you about Brock.
