Derek from Denver wants to know if there is an update on whether the NFL will suspend Denver receiver Brandon Marshall for an off-season arrest.

Grimmace: I've talked to several people about this and while the league can still suspend Marshall, the feeling is that the longer it goes without Marshall being suspended, the better it is for him. Marshall was arrested after a domestic dispute. However, charges were dropped the next day in early March. Marshall was suspended for one game last year after a series of arrests. The league could still come down on Marshall, but no news could be good news for Marshall.


Matt from Colorado Springs wants to know if Tom Brandstater could be the quarterback of the future in Denver.

Grimmace: I think so. He will, at least, get the chance to show he can be a long-term solution. Brandstater was drafted in the sixth round from Fresno State. New Denver head coach Josh McDaniels liked what he saw in Brandstater and drafted him over several other candidates. McDaniels comes from New England and getting great production out of quarterbacks who were drafted late is a way of life. So, the Broncos are excited about their new quarterback.

what does comming from new England have to do with drafting QBs in the 6th? Was mcDaniels involved in drafting Brady? There is a slew of guys there who have had more power, recognition and better track records than McD from Pioli to Belicheck to Weise, to even Mangini. The latter two of which left the organization and failed.

Honestly to say the guys a coaching prodigy for being so young and having a head coaching job is one thing. to say he's going to be automatically successful in some way or other because its "new england's tradition" is ****in unreal. Are we going to start taping opposing teams signals now because its the New England tradition? And winning 14 games a year?

He was 24 and wasn't even with NE at the time.
