Travis Henry Busted Again - The Orange Mane

AUBURNDALE | Embattled former NFL player Travis Henry was arrested again today by U.S. Marshals in Auburndale, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

A hearing has been scheduled for 3 p.m. to discuss the case, said a U.S. Attorney’s Office spokeswoman.

It wasn’t immediately clear why the former player was arrested, officials said. But they believed it stemmed from a release violation related to Henry’s Montana narcotics case.

Henry, a Frostproof High graduate and former running back for the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos, signed a plea deal with prosecutors in April admitting to a single cocaine conspiracy charge to possess at least 11 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute the drug.

Henry and co-defendant James Mack, 29, of Bow Mar, Colo., were arrested in Denver in October, after authorities in Montana found six pounds of marijuana and about 6.6 pounds of cocaine that the pair allegedly supplied.

The government said Henry trafficked cocaine between Colorado and Montana and that one of his associates had delivered six pounds of cocaine to Billings on prior occasions.

Henry also was arrested March 3 on charges he owed $16,600 in child support payments.

But after a successful appeal of his jail stay in the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Lakeland, Henry was ordered released March 18.

Henry has 11 children by 10 women.
