The real question is how many Total yards will Knowshon have?
I think he'll have around 1300 Total Yards 800 rushing and 500 Receiving

under 1000. Definately. He might add another 300-450 in receiving. He's a rookie RB behind several other more experienced backs, and while he can block I don't expect him to make a quick jump to the pros in that arena. He's also going from 12-13 game schedule to a 20 game schedule including preseason.

I'd say about 1,200... but I'm counting on him getting some receiving yards too.

Even with the backs signed, I don't think you take a RB with the #12 pick in the draft unless you plan on running the dog sh*t out of him. I wouldn't be shocked if he sees near 400 carries.

You are kidding, right? McD's O does not run a single back 400 times a season. I would think he would be around 250 touches or less, including passes. Hillis and Buck should get a touch or several a game as well........

**** that
I think he will get the lion's share of the carries, but we dont need him to be our entire offense

I doubt he goes over 300 carries

With that said I think he will get slightly over 1000 yards and prolly 400-500 receiving yards to go with that.
Im gonna say 14-18 total TDs

I'm not, and I've seen ever snap of the Patriots offense last season. He began heavily rotating backs because of injuries (major and minor) to Maroney, Morris, Faulk, Jordan and Ellis at different points. Although we signed Buckhalter, Arrington and Jordan - drafting a RB at #12 is a whole different story. Considering the QB situation, and the value invested in Moreno, I expect him to get a ton of carries. At the RB position, when you draft a guy in round 1, you've got to get your money's worth early and often. I'm thinking he'll have around 300 carries, but I wouldn't be shocked if it's even more than that - especially if Orton struggles as much as Rev thinks he will.

I don't know if you will ever again see another RB carry the ball 400 times in one regular season (assuming they stay at 16 games). But especially a rookie.

The last player to do it was Larry Johnson in 2006 with 416 caries, and it took an imbecile of a coach to do it. And we all know how it turned out. The next closest players were Tomlinson with 348 and Steven Jackson with 346.

NFL high for carries in 2007 was Clinton Portis with 325 (Edgerin James had 324).

Last year, the league leader was Michael Turner with 376. Adrian Peterson had 363.

Every fantasy football player knows trend in the league is to split the carries (and plays) between at least two running backs. This is not only to extend the career of effective backs, but also to utilize backs that have distinctly different skills. I say you're going to see even more of this in the years to come.

This, combined with the fact that McDaniels likes to throw it quite a bit, tells me that Knowshon doesn't even get to 300 carries.

I'd say about 900-1200 easy. Broncos will want to showcase him IMO as the focal point of the rushing attack.

I see Broncos throwing to the RB's maybe as much as 5-7 times a game or more. It will keep pressure off Orton and they are usually high % throws.

IMO Moreno will get the ball about 280 times this yr, maybe 300 at most. No way they load him up for 400 carries. I think you will see maybe 15 carries a game from Moreno, with some games up to 25.

Broncos will probably use a bigger back like Hillis for some of the redzone and short yrdage work. Buckhalter and maybe even someone like Arrington on some 3rd downs or to spell him.

Until some rbs get injured I think Broncos will use them all a little. Of course if Rbs go down one guy could get significantly more carries.

Moreno should be slightly over 1,000 yards rushing, I am excited to see what he can do in the passing and blocking game.
