It was my son's first show, and he got all of that his first night. It took me 30 years of going to shows to get all that. |

Bust a Nut is great too. All 6 of their studio records are great in my opinion. |

1. Metallica - the first decade in particular
2. Led Zeppelin - I'm currently jamming to the Song Remains the Same and am addicted to the version of No Quarter 3. Black Sabbath - I've blown many a car speaker listening to Sabbath 4. Iron Maiden - Live After Death is a must have 5. The Doors - Show me the way to the next whiskey bar... Other bands/performers, in no particular order - Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Hendrix, Tool. |

Here's a little song for TDmvp: When you were challenged You cried and cried and cried The Cito winds came whistling in You cried to a higher power You felt a moment of enablement You thought it was strength to hide |

I think I listed him as an alternate. As far as listening to bands where the lead guitar player is the Main attraction, I'd still have to give Stevie Ray the nod there. What's funny is there was a short time along time ago where I was so into the Satriani type stuff and now when I go back and listen to it, I'm bored after 5 minutes of it.

I love how many people are listing TOOL. I just picked up my tickets today for their concert in July (Utah). Greatest band ever

haha, was there as well....
was quite a good show. My first Metallica show since 92. Sound was horrible for Machine Head, but got better for Metallica. Still, acoustics in the Schleyerhalle suck major ass |
