First I've heard of this so take it with a grain of salt. I couldn't see it on ESPN.

Send them Arrington or Jordan. Preferably Arrington who is nothing more than a Special teamer but they have Bush already who is similar but much better at it.

I agree. The numbers aren't there for anything substantial. If we wanted a significant draft pick, NO would just wait 'til we released someone. I don't know what Hillis' injury situation is. If he's fully recovered, he and Moreno are the only running backs on the roster with any trade value. I'd be surprised to see either of them traded. |

they said it last week but if it is coming up again, that makes me worried since Hillis is the only guy I would want if I were them and I have already documented how happy I would be about that move

Mike Lombardi SPECULATED that they MIGHT want to look to Denver...this is a case of telephone game and has little to no truth

If the Saints are serious about picking up one the Broncos RBs then Hillis is the only guy I can see them wanting via trade. As someone else already suggested, they can wait until the Broncos cut or release one of their many RBs if they don't want to lose a draft pick.
I really don't think Torain is a trade possibility simply because he'd play like one game on that astro turf and then have to go on IR. I wonder why they don't pursue cooked crack? |

McDaniels has done well in acquiring the RB's. I don't believe he will let Jordan go because of their past experience together.

I think a combo of hillis, torain, moreno, buckhalter is the best in the league. I know everyone doesn't believe in torain but i've been convinced. He'll get healthy and play for a few years. 2 power backs, 2 runners.

Honestly... Torrain? That guy makes Boss Bailey look like Cal Ripken. He played one half of one game. He was drafted injured... injured again in training camp... and spent the last half of the year on IR after an entire half of a single game.

look, im a u or arizona grad. i hate the guy, but the guy is a legit big back. you can't name more than 2 or 3 in the league right now. there is no truth to the idea that he can't stay healthy until he can't.

I would think the Saints would look at Edge James, for whom they would have to give up nothing, rather than one of our backs.

Reggie Bush had microfracture surgery?
Holy cow. Dude may be the most overhyped player of all-time...he's already a bust and his legs are now gone. |

After cutting Selvin I hope we don't cut any of the backs. We're not as deep as we think: Moreno, Arrington, Jordan, Hillis, Buckhalter, Torain. A very solid group, but at least one will likely go down in TC and I really think we should maintain the depth. The late second day pick isn't worth jeopardizing that.

Yeah. But his college injury and TC injury were broken bones, and the hit he took would have busted anyone's ACL. I love how everyone is "ZOMG!!!111! HE GETZ INJURED! HE IS THE SUXOR!11!!!" but let's face it, there is a very big difference between someone who's body just can't stand up to the game and someone who has some bad luck.
