He will have to shine on special teams to have a shot.

Players with the name Nate just don't do good with the Broncos. Now if Shanny was still the coach, he would probably pencil him in as the starting slot WR.

As a Nebraska fan, I love Swift. He stepped up huge these last couple years giving Ganz a reliable target. In terms of physical tools I'm not sure how much he has to offer at the NFL level, but I'd love to see him make a roster. He will certainly work hard enough for it.

I just love the idea of having a WR named Swift.

i could see him becoming a Stokley type of receiver. he has skills, but is raw, and if he is let go by us, will catch on somewhere else in the league and make a decent slot receiver.

With 11 WRs on the squad right now, I don't see any way he makes it, even if he's a ST demon.
I like his story...hopefully he will make some other team's roster. Good luck, Swift! |

Chad Jackson. Even though I am not a huge CJ fan, I can see him making it over an UFA, esp since he knows the system McD ran in NE.

yeah, McD already cut Chad Jackson once, don't seem him batting an eye to do it again.
I liked the couple of passes CJ got last year, on the WR screens, i think. You could really see his speed and burst. I think C.Jackson, Stokley, and Swift are in competition for one spot on the roster. I'm giving McKinley a pass since we drafted him. |

IMO, he declined quite a bit towards the end of last year. My assessment could be wrong, and I'd be happy for it to be so, but if I'm right, his non-value on ST works against him as well.
C.Jackson and N.Swift both add valuable ST play, and can both be KR. |
