Default Week 12 vs. the Giants

Does anyone else think this is the most intriguing game of the year in terms of having a matchup of strengths? If you go by recent past, this is a matchup of one of the best offensive lines (ours) vs one of the best defensive lines (theirs). Unfortunately, it doesnt look so good on the flip side based on how things seem on the surface. In other words, the Giants also have had one of the best OLines and theyd be facing our front seven that most here think is horrid.

Still though, I think the matchup of our OLine and their DLine is a true test that I find intriguing.

Is anyone else somewhat fascinated by this matchup? Hopefully our line holds true to form and is still one of the best OLines by the time they play in Week 12.

It will be interesting to see how many yards Jacobs gets on our defense.

True. He may get a lot. But I still think a bigger flaw of our team was not making defensive plays on 3rd down to stop drives. Thats where Im hoping Nolan and the improved DBs helps. It seemed like last year, we would give up a few yards, and arrive at a 3rd and 5, only to do nothing on 3rd down (again the 10 yard cushion), so they could keep their drive going and get more yards. And then sometimes, we'd get a 3rd down early and not come up with a stop, at which point, youre thinking, "oh great, thats the last chance we had at stopping that drive."

No but they did ship the talented John Engelberger out of town and he is still unemployed because people are scheptical of his large amounts of talent and his low asking price. Coaching was the only problem with him.
