Default Simple question: Who do you predict will win the starting QB position?

OK, thought Id change it up with something thats not draft related. If someone posted this poll, excuse me, but I couldnt recall one asking this specific question.

I'll guess Orton, but if Simms is healthy... I expect a fierce competition. He's a smart QB who can make a lot of the throws McD will ask him to make.

I truly believe it'll be an open competition. Even the rookie could win the job. Should be fun to watch.

It seems like Simms has the stronger arm. If its close otherwise, I wonder if that will be a deciding factor since the stronger arm makes the defense defend more of the field. Orton seems more like the check down manager type though. I just wonder if that, at some point, will bog down the offense due to saturation inside the box.

Could be. Orton throws a fairly good medium-range ball, though. He just doesn't throw an accurate deep ball. He CAN throw it deep. Reports are that he has a strong arm, but just doesn't thread the needle on long balls very well.

I just think Simms is a tough, smart QB... and guys like that often find themselves starting, even if they don't have elite arms.

If I'm not mistaken the most winning QB in recent Broncos history (since Elway) also had a beard!

It has to be Orton. There is no way our new rookie will win the starting job. Orton has the most experience, and has more potential in this system than Simms does in my opinion.

I'd rather watch a forty something Brister than Orton or Simms.

Hell shouldnt even be close, Orton. That guy was a pro bowl quarterback last year, till he sprained his ankle. Plus he is the guy that McDaniels wanted for Cutler, so let him be the guy.

I think it will be Chris Baker, NT - Hampton.

A big fat NT is going to solve everything, right?

Fierce? Neither of these guys would start on 28 of the other pro franchises in the NFL, there is nothing fierce about 2 career benchwarmers having a cripple fight to the starting QB spot in Denver now that the only real QB in town is gone.

When are you going to get it through your thick head that pro football is a team sport, and the win/loss record is a reflection of how good the TEAM is?

Who is a better QB, Trent Dilfer or Dan Fouts?

God damn, you are one stupid bastard. Thank god you aren't running anything resembling a pro football team
