i agree. i know the sport wants to go global, but give me a break. there is a difference between exhibition games played outside of america, but the super bowl, that is just retarded.

it is america's sport, and it should remain in america. europe isn't going to be bringing their soccer championships to the U.S.A in hopes of garnering new fans of the sport, why should we take football over there.

Goodell is really being stupid in his plans to globalize a game that almost the entire world watches already.

The Premiership actually did have plans until it was laughed off and while there technically might be someone who watches the NFL in every country, it is far from a global sport and way behind most other sports in that regard.

One thing the NFL is not doing is considering a Super Bowl in London. Goodell dismissed a report that "substantive talks" with officials in London were held.

"We have never looked at London or Mexico City as a site," he said.

That's not what he said. What he said was that that hadn't considered London or Mexico City as possible sites.

If our currency is not near the pound, this would be a horrible mistake. Add the fact that not too many planes in the USA go international to England, prices would sky rocket. Many fans drive based on flying too expensive, how else can you get to England in time for the game. Plus, they want to put the Pro Bowl at the Super Bowl site. That wont work for the Americans wanting to see the game but not willing to spend that much on the trip. If Goodell wants to kick out the Americans in their own game, this would do it. Personally, I dont see this happening.
