12. Denver Broncos: B.J. Raji, DT, Boston College Team needs: DE, DT, OLB, WR Comment: New coach Josh McDaniels is overhauling the defense, installing a 3-4 scheme after releasing four starters from a year ago. He needs size, and the best defensive tackle in this draft falls into his lap at 12. 18. Denver Broncos: Brian Orakpo, DE, Texas Team needs: DE, DT, OLB, WR Comment: Taking B.J. Raji at nose tackle at 12 would give the Broncos a building block in the run defense in the new 3-4 scheme. Orapko would give the Broncos some much-needed pass rush. They managed 26 sacks last year. Orakpo had 12. |

If Orakpo is there at 12, I really doubt we let him go further than that.

Those would be two fabulous picks.
Ofcourse, neither is likely to be there at each respective point.

That Green Bay will snap up Raji without a minute passing on the clock is a foregone conclusion, and that's if he makes it that far down.
Aren't there some injury concerns with Orakpo? I'm thinking he just might be a surprise slip to Denver. If he is, we have to pounce. |

Wow.
Gosselin is right more than anybody else because he actually talks to people in each organization and has built relationships instead of just spouting what he thinks. I SO want this to happen. |

Oh boy, the two biggest busts in the draft. Sounds like about the kind of draft the Broncos would get.

Yeah right! Raji will be long gone by 12. I'd...do a happy dance in front of the TV if we got Raji.
I'm thinking we will go with either Tyson Jackson or Peria Jerry. Brian Orakbo would be great, but I doubt he will be there at 12 either. Hear me today and beleive me tomorrow: ALL DEFENSE DRAFTED TODAY! (I think) ![]() Last edited by Little44; 04-25-2009 at 06:31 AM.. |

Is this guy a Bronco fan?
He should also add that we trade Shef for Peppers and Carolina also agrees to pay Peppers salary. |
