I saw that some people here are upset by the Ayers pick...but doesn't Mayock think he'll be the best defensive player from this draft within 3 years? I know he's not necessarily projecting him into a 3-4 scheme, but Mayock is right more than he's wrong...

That being said, I'd rather have Moreno than Wells if we do end up drafting a RB at 18

McShay has us taking Ayers at 12 as well, but then projects us to take Rey at 18.

If the Seahawks draft Sanchez, it will be acting as a proxy for someone else.

Just my opinion, but it all seems like a whole lot of posturing to me in an effort to get someone to make an offer to move up.

Ayers would be a good choice, but I think he will be the pick at 18.

I am curious why a lot of drafts suddenly have Curry falling to 12.

If Curry falls to 12 it won't matter who we pick at 18, this place will explode with joy.

Not if we pass on him.

I am starting to feel like McDaniels isn't looking at Cushing because that is who he realy wants. I think hoodie wanted him last year if he came out. They both hail from the hoodie philosophy on LB's.

I see zero mock drafts projecting him to us so it could be him at 12.

As far as Ayers...I don't know enought about him except that most experts seem to think Jackson is a better fit at DE for us.

I would love Beanie Wells at 18. Moreno is to slow and it will show in the NFL.

Love the Beanie Wells pick. If you take what McDaniels said at face value, then Ayers doesnt seem likely simply because he admitted in his press conference that we already have a lot of similer (ie 4-3 DEs/3-4 OLBs) players on our roster in Moss, Doom, and Crowder and that Moss and Doom would be rank similar to the guys slotted to go in teh first two rounds this year. Again, thats if you take what he says at face value and we all know he kind of has a history with that being prolematic.
