Has anyone else been getting teased/ridiculed/harassed because of the chaos our FO? - The Orange Mane

Im just curious to know if anyone else has been getting the business? I guess this is mainly directed to people who dont live away from Denver. As I said, in the other thread, I live in Chicago and know a lot of people from Boston and with Cutler going to Chicago, Im constantly beaten over the head with the fact that our FO fumbled away our best player. People around here are giddy and it sucks. Not only that but its as a result of Bowlen going out and hired a Patriot...so I get harassed by NE fans that Denver is being burnt to the ground by one of their guys. It was bad enough Pat hired a Patriot in the first place. Now he's tearing it down.

I was just curious to know if anyone else has been getting the business because of the tumult in Denver caused by Pat and Josh?

Perhaps you werent aware but our FO has turned itself into a punchline...and all we get is spin. Not only that but Ive doted on Bowlen for years and people are throwing that in my face.

I was wearing my bronco Hoody at DIA and some kid walked up to me and said "i'm a bears fan, I just wanted to say thanks" I just gave him a thumbs up and said good luck...

YES. I'm approached on almost a daily basis by acquaintances who want to know what I think of the Broncos' offseason moves.... it comes with the territory of being one of the more-high-profile Broncos fans here in Seachicken territory.

You are about the only one I know constantly beating Broncos fans over the head about the FO. I received a few questions from co-workers the day after it happened but most were able to move on with their lives much like myself and very much unlike yourself.

I used to give a hard time to my colleagues about the WAshington Huskies and Sonics and they have been merciless with me. The worst however is my team mate who is a bears Fan. He is cloud nine since the trade went thru.

There's a Vikings fan at my gym who's gven me the business a couple times, in a nice way. He says "thanks a lot."

Two years there, and he and I had never spoken once. But right after the trade he made a beeline to the tall dorky guy who wears Broncos shirts all the time ...

My buds who are Browns and Bengals fans are having a good laugh over all this.

It's not hard to counter against them....but the fact they enjoyed the whole cluster**** of a situation so much shows you what a soap opera it was.

If Minnesota's D gets up in Cutler's grill a couple of times and gets him off of his game, it's all over. Cutler will be yelling at the refs, playing slap-fight with opposing QBs, getting delay of game penalties called on him.

Just tell your buddy not to worry, and to spread the word that Cutler is soft, and any D can get under his skin.

Seriously. I love this "chaos" nonsense.

Agree or not, if one thing can be said about what's happening now, it's being done with purpose. We made a bunch of early FA signings, moved on a huge trade and are loaded up with draft picks for next weekend. McDaniels and Co. held firm against an agent/pouty QB who were trying to extort the organization.

There's not one ounce of resentment being purveyed by the players. To the contrary, the tone has been enthusiastic across the board.

No, not at all. I've got friends who are KC and Oakland fans and to a man they all said we got the best of the trade. Think Cutler is a douche of a leader etc. Doesn't mean they are right, of course, but that is the opinions I've gotten.
