In the end, that has to be McDaniels' first order of business. He has to establish a relationship with his players in the aftermath of severing one with his quarterback.

Success in the NFL, where parity rules, isn't all about assembling talent — far from it. It's about motivating players.

sry but this is a bunch of bull... the team started disliking cutler as soon as his "its all there fault and im perfect" attitude started kicking in...

i think its funny that people seem to forget how quickly that the only reason jay cutler is gone is NOT because of mcdaniels, its because he locked himself in his room and wouldnt talk to anyone until he got traded. its been stated multiple times. jay cutler tells everyone "i think both sides would have done things differently" however mcdaniels says "i wish we could have been able to communicate with him at all"

mcdaniels stated multiple teams before, during and after trade talks that cutler was his QB, but cutler refused to listen. if he would have dropped his untradeable ego one time he would still be here and still be the starting QB

this is what ive found right now... it might not have been the kicker but he got into a beef with some one on the sidelines...

and i didnt come to the forum to bash cutler and promote plummer i came here cuz im a fan ppl are just talking about cutler so im putting in my opinion on the **** and the plummer post i put up i thought was funny and figured i would share and then again i put in my opinion when every one started bashing him!

Oh ok. So Cutler stabbed the kicker and told him "if we don't win it's your fault" and then picked a fight with him in the locker room again later? I've heard some of the locker room stories, but I've never heard that before. Did he punch some old ladies on his way to taking his equipment off? I don't think even the most classless player in the world would try and stab a player, then re-pick the fight in the locker room. I would love to know why this is the first we've heard of this.

You're just butt-hurt because Plummer got himself benched for playing like crap and Cutler replaced him so you hate Cutler now.
