One thing you can say about Sporting News...they are consistent. Consistently clueless about the draft. Jackson at 48 is a joke.

I'll give them this, Hood is a guy moving up and very well could be picked in the early 20's.

I've been a Sporting News War Room subscriber for several years now. They've been getting progressively worse since about 2005 or so, but this year is really bad. Their picks are all over the map -- the Tyson Jackson at pick #48 is just one of many bizarre picks.

They're so bad this year, I'll definitely be canceling my subscription as soon as it's up for renewal.

Hood is a 2nd-3rd round talent,no way he gets drafted in the 1st. I was listening to charles casserly in which he stated that in any other year R. Brace would be a 3rd or 4th round pick if that tells you anything about this years dline options. This years draft is so weak on dline that you're going to see alot of dlineman drafted higher than they are worth.

Sheesh, Ziggy Hood couldn't be less suited for a 3-4, he has no role in it. Same with Peria Jerry, who some jackasses at are suggesting we draft in their mock (i think SI might too). Don't get me wrong, if we were a 4-3 I'd be man crushing on both of them, but everyone knows we're transitioning to a 3-4. Their job is football, how can they not bother to do any research?
