If Pat White is a real prospect at receiver I guess that's ok. I just think not trying to address the defense until that late is foolish.

After kicking Cut to the curb, a draft like this that doesnt address the HUGE problems on defense would be enough to cause rioting in the streets in Denver.

Love the Percy Harvin choice. Sanchez makes a lot of sense, not just b/c of the position but b/c of the hispanic popularity he would bring (SALES!!!). Pat White is a guy I really would love to have on this team. I think he'll end up being another Hines Ward/Rod Smith type. I think he'll go higher than #79 though. Probably top of round 3.

What would you think of drafting Scott in lieu of Rashad Jennings?

Addressed DT and he is a heck of a specimen. Plus, I think what we need out of the backfield right now is that Kevin Faulk type element. Percy Harvin CAN do that, but then again all of our RBs are good receivers at this point (Hillis, Jordan, Buckhalter, and Arrington anyhow).

Oddly enough, while I don't know whether or not this is intended to be a joke, I find myself less upset by the notion of a mostly-offense draft than I thought I would be. Maybe all I'd really do is replace Sanchez with Raji, from there, the idea of adding Pat White, Percy Harvin, and Mike Thomas actually excites me, though it could just be because I've played too much Madden and rookie receivers always play well...

Like who? There aren't too many sure fire guys.

I'd think about Raji at #12 but Sanchez would be a smarter pick, especially for Bowlen if sales are the objective.

Percy Harvin is a dynamic player and a playmaker. The only other receiver I would rather have over Harvin is the other great playmaker in this draft, Maclin (who is quite a bit smarter as well). Harvin is dynamic enough to play WR or be a 3rd down back.

Who would you consider instead? If a guy like Orakpo or Brown fell to #12 then go defense. But are you willing to take a chance on a guy like Maybin or Barwin in the first round? I think they will both be Great players, but not in year one. Cushing is probably the only defensive player I can think of that will most likely be available at #12 that I would take. Tyson Jackson perhaps but he sure doesn't qualify as a "sexy" pick and I think that is what Bowlen wants.

I was not at all disappointed with shanny getting fired or cu-nt-ler getting traded but this would make a huge dent in my heart. If something like this happens i will run wild on I - 25 until invesco
