Cutler gonzo after 3 seasons, what is your stance on buying new jerseys? - The Orange Mane

Many people here have put down serious cashe on players like Cutler and Brandon Marshall and now have a jersey with the player on another team and the wide receiver rubbing people the wrong way for his off the field behavior. Do you now consider this when shopping for a jersey? NOTE: 2nd choice on poll is for those that have now decided to switch thinking since the Cutler fiasco/trade. 3rd choice is based on your thinking before the Cutler fiasco/trade.

One is gone and one has off field behavior issues. I dont think one more post by you would change the way you can read and beatch. I guess you have had a tough offseason. Way to be a douche on post 2.

i learned my jersey lesson after my $80 Javon Walker became an $80 dust rag...

Bought a $250 shannon sharpe 1994 throwback after that...and I freaking love it!

my next purchase will be an old school Atwater.

I like to get throwbacks from players that retired Broncos. I know I can always wear those ones.

Then I like a lot of Broncos gear that's all about the team. Just regular Broncos shirts with the team logo, hoodies, hats, etc etc.

I was thinking about getting a Clady Jersey though. I think it's pretty safe to assume he sticks around.

I love my Tyrone Braxton jersey I bought in 95. If we could get everyone to play as hard and scrappy as he did I bet we could get a few more picks.

I think I will wait at least 7 to 8 years. I didnt with Rod Smith but that was accidently in the bargain basement at a store for $10 (practice jersey) and he was already on the team for a few years. I dont mind a guy leaving the team because he wasnt re-signed or left on good terms. I just would put it away until he retires. Meck, Gradishar, Elway, T Davis and Tom Nalen are all safe bets.

One of my fav jerseys is my Mike Anderson one - don't know why. I realize that it's a long standing tradition to hate on almost everyone that has left the team, but that's not me.

Although, it is funny to still see Kordel jerseys here in western PA.

Commas, use them. At least then your run on sentances wouldn't look as uneducated as they do, and possibly even convey the idea you want them to!

Throwbacks are overpriced so I'll buy current players but I'll wait until the player has been a Bronco for a long time and is in the twilight of their career. If Champ Bailey remains a Bronco for another year or two I'll probably grab his jersey. I wish I would have gotten a Rod Smith jersey before he officially retired, but at the time I was still sporting my Terrell Davis jersey.

I have a Pryce, Elway, and Anderson jerseys and I'd buy more the jersey represents the team and player whom you liked and it don't matter where they are now they were a part of the team when you bought it and if you don't like the player no more then change the name on it

Wife has Champ and Eddie Royal

Daughter has Champ and Jay Cutler (sigh).

For the most part, I wait to buy proven, long lasting players for the Broncos though. I will, from time to time take a chance on a younger player, and most of the times it has burned me but its a chance you take.

No reason to stop buying jerseys though.

I have an old TD jersey (the old white one). I want to get an orange TD jersey and a white Elway jersey (both the old ones, I'm still boycotting the new stuff). I wouldn't be a current player's jersey because you don't know how long they'll be with the team. Unless that player has been with the team long enough to go down as a Bronco.

I don't have the kind of cash to be replacing jerseys every other year, so I got two authentics with my own name on them and was done with it. As far as I'm concerned, they've already paid for themselves and then some. They're also the only apparel I have (outside of a hoodie I got on the cheap early on) that has the current logo on it. I banned the current logo stuff a few years ago (afterall, why promote a style you dislike?) and only buy retro Broncos stuff now.

Cutlers is gone and Sheffler is seemingly trade bait.

No more new players until they done something for the team besides sign a contract....

I'll stick with Old school from here on out.
