Mentioned it on ESPN Radio in Dallas this afternoon.
Projected in the 5th/6th round. 5'8" and 26 years old (played OF in Angels organization for 4 years). But the kid sounds smart and - though I hate this term - like a football player. He's been working out with Randy White and understands what he'll have to do to make it in the NFL. So there...I like the guy, UT or not. He's not one of those sissy, pampered Longhorns like the rest of them. Don't tell Chris Simms that, though. |

we already have eddie royal,, i don't think we need another little guy, unless he balls like eddie does, then I'm all for it, in fact if we could clone four eddies we wouldn't need anybody else for our receiving core

A guy who spent 4 years playing baseball. Sure sounds like "a football player" to me.

I remember Crosby. He plays much larger than his listed height with good speed too, but on this team, he's just special teams material if anything.

I get the feeling that McDaniels likes his undervalued wr's like Shanny did his undervalued rb's. I was wondering a month ago about what kind of wr McDaniels likes, it seems that one type he likes is quick smart receivers who have lower value because they aren't very tall or 40 fast.

Wow, he's almost old enough to play RB for McDaniels. I wonder if he is also injury prone?

The 'Manster' can be seen working out @ the same 24hr Fitness that I do here in Frisco--he has some big boys(Quan not being one of them) coming in with him on occassion. Mr White can still put up some iron too, lthough truth be told, he looks a like he probably dabbles in a little pharmacology......back on subject--Quan was a steady producer in college and can be this generations Mark Jackson to Eddie Royal's Vance Johnson
