FWIW, I think Kirwan was saying Denver should get 3600 worth of picks aside from the player. In this scenario, Denver is only getting 1460-1660 depending on what value you assign to Shaun Rogers. BTW, this would give Denver: 12 17 48 52 69 79 In the first three rounds to go along with Quinn and Rogers. Last edited by lex; 03-20-2009 at 01:22 PM.. |

If this happens, i involuntarily **** my pants!!
As much as i would love to get Cushing and REY REY, i would also love to get CMathews instead of REY. I like Larsen alot, and i really think he is gonna be a solid ILB. BUT! No complaints here! L!OL! Also, why not go for broke and get rid of Marshall too!?! Trade Bmarsh for either #26 BALT or 28 NYG and draft KBritt WR Rutgers. Huge BMarsh like player, with good hands. 6-4 215. I also LOVE the Delmas pick, and he would be smashing in the secondary. This also frees up DEN to draft a TE like Casey, Rice in the 3rd. And another DE like Mith King Pudue in the 4th. That would complete the offense with Casey, and complete the 3-4 for Nolan. This team would be BRUTAL in one offseason and as LEX pointed out, acoording to the points system, DEN isnt even getting full value!!!! Unreal! Yeah and CLE will have to get something more right away! Sheffler, something........... Last edited by socalorado; 03-20-2009 at 01:11 PM.. |

YEah, all parties have to at least get fair value. CLE getting future picks in bulk puts to rest the QB issue. Anderson for a year, and a possible QB next year with ammo to move around to accomodate Bradford. DEN get immediate picks and players, but they are giving up the Immediate sure fire Pro Bowl QB, so its fair value. NYJ get Cutler, nuff said. |

bowever the Browns are getting raped in that trade and we would need to include Scheff in the deal as well. they just let Winslow go and are in need of a new injury prone TE with pass catching skills. |

Again, if you want an effective 3-4 defense, you need OLB's that are pass rush types. Cushing is more a blitzing type OLB who would work well with a 4-3 defense. If he's at OLB in a 3-4 and guys like Bailey and Woodyard(nonpass rush types as well), then the Broncos better have/find a DL who can get pressure on the QB and not your typical 3-4 DL whose job is to mainly occupy blockers and stout against the run.
