Default CBS4: Cutler has left Denver and told the Broncos to trade him

Cutler Tells Team To Trade Him
By Vic Lombardi

CBS4 has learned that disgruntled Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler is no longer in Denver and is done negotiating with the team. Cutler will not be attending Monday's voluntary team workout. Sources tell CBS4 he has told the Broncos to trade him.

Cuter and his agent met face to face with the Broncos Saturday where no progress was made between the quarterback and his new head coach.

Cutler recently put his house on the market. We're told that the timing of the sale is merely coincidence. Cutler had been planning to sell the house for several months.

CBS4 has also learned that tight end Tony Scheffler intends on skipping tomorrow's voluntary session.

Heck of a job, Pat and Josh.

Heck of a job. Only complete ****ing morons could ruin this.

I hope you two douchebags are happy with what you've done. I hope you are happy with these Macho approaches. Good job with that. I hope you enjoy being sentenced to 4-12 because that's what you deserve. It's what you've earned.

I wouldn't be surprised if he spoke directly to Jay. Vic co-hosted Jay's show, was the first to have interviews from him after Shanny's firing and the beginning of this saga, and has appeared to be Jay's sounding board to an extent.

I'm not terribly happy about this either SoCal but do you really want us to go 4-12?

Very reliable. He's been on this story from the moment it broke, and has delivered the goods every step of the way. Vic seems to have good ties with the Cutler camp. I personally think he's talking directly with Jay himself.

It's over guys, Jay isn't going to be a Bronco next season.

Now the Broncos need to move forward and start a bidding war for Jay, I think Jay ends up in Minnesota.

The ONLY good thing that comes of this is that McDaniels leash just got a whole lot shorter. He won't have 3 years now. He will have 2 tops. He just made it a whole lot harder on himself. He made it alot harder to win and thats the only thing that can save him..winning and winning immediately. The press is going to eat this guy at every loss now. He better hope this year isnt a disaster or there will be a full fledged upheavel by the fans.

Okay so what are the odds that Cutler goes to the team that Shanahan will eventually coach?

Exactly. If he wants to hold out for three years and ruin his career, so be it.

I expected for him to at least turn out.

Now I'm starting to turn on Cutler. I'm just scared that we let him go, he becomes another Peyton Manning.
