Default I'm calling it right now!

The Denver Broncos will field a surprisingly good team that will make the play offs and win at least one game.

What do you think?

Depends who are QB is.

if it's Jay Cutler, we can do much better than last season. If it's not, we're going 4-12.

With the current situation and our schedule this coming season... 8-8 would make me happy.

Without Cutler I expect 4-12 at best.

I fully EXPECT playoffs and a win in 2010 though with Cutler... maybe 8-8 without depending on our QB situation.

Well, thats certainly my expectation, baja. The staff is going around and "demanding accountability" and acting like they are better than anyone else, so it is only fair to expect alot from them and to be disappointed if they fail to achieve it. My expectation therefore is 11-5 and the playoff win that you have mentioned. Anything less would be a failure. Now that might be difficult in light of our defense, schedule and Marshall's impending (lengthy) suspension, but Coach Josh is a "no excuses" kind of guy and likewise, no excuses will be tolerated.

There's no double standard. People are allowed to express themselves in their signatures.

There, now everybody's happy

This is actually a worthwhile thread. No sense in ruining it with politics.

Cutler, Marshall, Sheffler and Hillis will be gone by 2010.

So if we got into playoffs. Saint Shanny would still be coach. BMarsh would still have been in his annual trouble with the law. And Insulin Cutler would have been happy. God I miss the "old" days.

I as much of a Cutler apologist as anyone, but people are overestimating the influence of a QB.

I'm more optimistic than I've been about the Broncos since the end of the 2005 AFC Championship season.

If our offense is as good as last year (if Hillis stays healthy, B-Marsh stays out of trouble, and Cutler stops being a b*tch, it will be), than all we need is an average defense to put us back in the top tier.

Shanny was good, but his ideas were old, and we really needed a shake up. The verdict will be out for a long time on McD, but in the short term, the team will be better because of it.

If he gets over this rough patch, Cutler will be on the team for another 10 years.

Not so sure about the other two.

Im expecting blackouts to follow a shltty start and a shltty season.

But your right this regime runs around like they are the cock of the walk, they better be held accountable to the expectation they set for themselves...whether the qb is Cutler or Chris Simms.
