That is so one-sided it's ridiculous. Take out the #12 pick and it's still at least arguably in Carolina's favor.

Carolina doesn't have a first round draft pick. I would say if we swapped first rounders, that might be closer to a fair deal. They might not think so, though. I think the throw-in of Delhomme is just that: a throw-in. And he's certainly not worth a first round draft pick.

When I first saw it I was thinking we were giving up Cutler for Peppers, Delhomme, and their 1st. Thought about it and said, nope we're still screwed at QB. Then I noticed it was OUR FIRST! F-that!

That's one **** deal from a value and financial viewpoint.

You're talking over $22m in cap alone and Delhomme is a FA in 2010 not too mention the fact no franchise in this league would give up pick 12 for Peppers and then have the audacity to offer a choker for a Pro-Bowler.

Plus the fact the Panthers are drowning capwise, just $2m under the cap and I dont even know if that includes Peppers tag because he hasn't signed it yet. That is one franchise that cant wait for an uncapped year to clear all their deadwood.

This one isn't even close. Pepper's is a stud, but Delhomme is almost the exact opposite type of QB I would expect McDaniels to want. Asking for #12 on top of it is laughable.

QB is the most valuable position in football, so how is it we throw in a 1st rounder?...

In order to get Cutler they would have to START with Peppers and still add more to the package to make it worth it...

Peppers carries big value (although his contract will be a doozy), but a 29 yr old Pro Bowl DE doesn't have the value of a 25 yr old Pro Bowl QB...

I broke this **** over a week ago. There is a draft day deal involving our #1 and Peppers the rest I dont know other then it depends of who falls on draft day.
