Broncos send "The Beast" to The Bears

Yet another move by the front office that's been making headlines all month.

Pro-Bowl Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall has finally been making headlines in a positive light, but no one could have expected this news. (Denver Post file photo )

The Denver Broncos in a shocking trade have sent Marshall packing to the Chicago Bear for Wide Receiver Earl Bennett along with a second and third round picks in the 2009 NFL Draft.

In addition to these acquisitions, the Broncos have also received a fourth round draft pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.

It has been well known that Marshall had been seeking a big payday with the Broncos, so this move seems to be based on the Broncos trying to trim off cap room for players on the defensive side of the ball.

Veteran free agency began today at 12:01 EST.
