Raji, Raji, Mauluga.

I like how they have the Raiders taking a WR in each one as well.. haha

I agree, Raji wont be there. He is probably the best available DL in the draft and those almost always go top 10.

Wouldn't laugh too soon. They would end up with a good one.

I noticed watching the combine that Raji has very short arms. How could that not be a problem?

I new he would last until our pick.

Raji should be gone before 10 though.

Raji does have short arms and while it would help for him to have longer arms, he's not an OT so it's not a deal breaker. Not sure he fits a 3-4 NT though. He's got the bulk, that's for sure.

It could be a huge problem, that's why Raji's not a NT. He's a penetrating 3-technique. Raji at NT will be the same problem New York had putting Robertson there. Raji's teammate at BC Ron Brace is a natural NT.

If Raji is there at 12 he would make great trade fodder.

You're smarter than a lot of people. Even the Broncos thought he wouldn't last past the Chiefs.

There are a lot of diverging oppinions on Raji, a lot of people see him as hyped up but not really a top 10 pick while others have him solidly in the top 10 and with Jenkins and Andre Smith falling out of the top 10 he should go up the boards.

I think Raji will be picked right in that 10-12 area, he is a DT and they are often overdrafted a bit, he is the best for his position and should be able to find a home in any system.

Maualuga on the other hand really has some ground to make up, for a guy who is known to be questionable in passing situations his speed didn't win him any fans and with Matthews shooting up boards and Sintim and Cushing both putting in very good workouts he could end up a lot lower than expected. I don't think he will be a top 16 pick anymore.

I think Dorsey still being there solidified his drop to us. Although KC might have been lured by Ryan.

In the Wyche mock draft it says Orakpo is still on the board and we take Rey Rey..No way IMO I would take Orakpo over Rey...

I like Rajji, but the short arms bother me. Plus, he really didn't play a NT type of role at BC. That was Ron Brace's job. I'd rather see us pick the best LB available and then get Brace later on.

I don't get why people hate Orakpo so much on this board. Guys like Mayock and Davis, and several others who know their stuff, are all really high on him. Around here it's like he's the anti-christ.

I think Wyche's makes the most sense out of the three. I could definitely see it going like that.

Any mock draft that has Curry fall out of the top 3, loses all credabiliity with me.

That's what I'm trying to point out. I think the CU homers here are letting their hatred of Texas taint their perception of reality.

Well I dont know but Texas has been producing more busts than studs lately it seems:
Vince Young
Michael Huff
Tim Crowder
Derrick Johnson......to an extent

yuck

Besides Griffin who has come out of Texas that has been a stud the past few years?

I am somewhat impartial here because I am not a CU homer.

I don't see Orakpo as a good fit for 3-4 OLB, of the players in or around the 1st round who are being mentioned as potential fits for the 3-4 system, he is the one I like the least. He seems to be much more of a traditional weak end in a 4-3 or cover 2.

I have to admit that I would prefer Sintim in the top of the 2nd round, he has experience as a 3-4 OLB, he can rush the passer and drop into coverage.
