Forgive me. It was the free safety from Miss. St. Pegues.

good stuff so far. I wonder if Knox will simply be a Kircus 2.0 type tho. Break all sorts of records in college and then do nothing in the NFL?
or is the situation different? |

I dont really see Pegues going to Denver with his character issues. Denver has been emphasizing character more recently. I think there was an article about how this was important when drafting last year.

Very good question, having seen both practice (Knox in el paso, and Kircus at training camp) I give the edge to Knox. Kircus had an awesome vert, and put up great numbers at Grand Valley State, but I always questioned his ability to translate the big plays from the practice field to the game. He was very inconsistent in practice as well, making amazing/leaping catches, and then dropping 4 easy ones in a row. Knox has better hands and speed to go along with the same type of athleticism. I also give the edge to Knox in the route running department, especially when beating the jam. |

Oh yeah.
Send this tape over to Mike Nolan. Clinton McDonald - DT - Memphis This dude would make an awesome 3-4 DE. Obviously he doesn't play against the SEC, but he has the same ability to penetrate as a Tyson Jackson. I like that kid a lot. 55 tackles and 4 sacks in 13 games is good enough for me. Sign him boys! |
