Default Trade a 5 round pick for Ladell Betts.

Washington has some cap problems and might be willing to make the trade. The Broncos then could then use the first 4 picks on defence.

Trade a 4 round pick for Michael Turner?

Trade a 5 round pick for Matt Forte or Ronnie Brown?

How about a 6 for Steven Jackson

other than 1 season, what has Betts proven? He is vastly overrated (this coming from someone married to a Skins fan). You are better taking a flyer on 5th round back and pairing them with Hillis and Torain.

Betts raised eyebrows here when he was content to be a backup and took the money. When Portis was hurt, he looked like a starting running back. Portis returned with a vengeance and Betts seemed happy to pull a check. Never made any noise about getting in the lineup, and he ran like a different back. BUYER BEWARE. The guy has talent, but you gotta wonder about his desire. Around the league the word is somewhat out on him.

NO. DEN needs the pick. DEN has alot of options in the draft, and giving away picks that can be packaged to move up into higher rounds will be needed. I wouldnt mind if DEN packaged its 5ths and its 4th to move back up into the 2nd or 3rd round. DEn needs to find a way to get back into those rounds BAD! DEN also has 2 7ths. to throw into that package if needed. DEN needs to get 4-5 immediate "impact" players.
Why not just go after Donald Brown, Rashad Jennings or Jerimiah Johnson instead.

NO WAY!!!!!!

make a run at Derrick Ward if anything.....Betts is one of those mid-level backs that doesnt have the ability to break into an every down, relied on type of guy...he's a fill-in

you guys are missing it...

Darren Sproles is the back we need to go after...

he's super explosive and will iimmediately bolster our ST...plus, he is a very dangerous receiver out the backfield...he's not an every down back, but a change of pace back...you combine him and Hillis to form the best thunder/lightening combo in the game...

Sproles would be a better version of what Kevin Faulk was in McDaniel's offense...

Not Ladell Betts, Not Beanie Wells, Not Moreno, not Derrick Ward...

Darren Sproles...

what can they do about it?...

the only thing the Chargers can do about it is outbid us...and if they do that i'm okay with it because then they'd be overpaying...

Darren Sproles is a playmaker, but he's not an every down back...

so we don't have to worry about him getting franchised because you don't pay a third down back top 5 RB pay...

Sproles will be a free agent can go where he chooses and i hope we lure him here...
