Default Crazy SoCal and the police pursuits. Do you have them in your area?

Another car persuit and this one is being handled with kid gloves as it is a $300k Bentley. My cousin and I are thinking it is Chris Brown since they were looking for him for hitting his girlfriend Rhianna (That Ahole!). WHo else can afford a car like this? Anyways, we in SoCal seem to corner the market on this low brow entertainment. While the story of the day should be Obama and his stimulus plan, we have had this on for over an hour. It has got to be a celebrity as they have wasted soooo much time on it. Does this crap happen in your area of the country or canada? I would love to see one on the Autobahn in Germany. This better be a celebrity aka Chris Brown.

Who else can afford a car like this Take a look around, Studio people, company heads, sport stars, movie stars, about any entertainer. Do you not see all the Aston martins, Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porches and such all over the place.

Am I the only one that gets mad that the cops do not just open fire and save tax payers money and police overtime. I swear, shoot 2 of them and this crap will stop

That would be the best part about being in the CHP, you're guaranteed to get into atleast one chase.

I always think this when the pursuit can kill innocent people. This wasnt one of them but he did off himself so it made the ending a lot different than what we are used to seeing.SOme of these idiots going down the wrong side of the street should be shot if the shot is in danger of no one else and the outcome of the out of control car doesnt injure or kill bystanders. Good target practice and this crap would end pretty quickly.

Did you guys see that one the other day with the chick in the Uhaul? I never watch the car chases, but i must admit, that one captured the hearts and minds of the entire office. Jumping curbs, weaving through traffic, skipping the barriers, going from downtown to zuma in about 20 minutes..

bravo...bravo

This all happened right in my hood.

In fact, I tuned into the first chase (the red Eclipse) just as he was turning onto Hollywood way from Magnolia. I was at work watching, and that intersection is literally a few hundred yards from my work.

The part that killed me was his foray into the Burbank Airport... the wrong direction. How he didn't head-on someone is beyond me... and how the cop let him get out of that is beyond me.

That was actually a pretty frightening chase. I held my breath a couple times watching that ****er fly through intersections. It's one thing when a guy is on the highway and it's another when he's flying down neighborhood streets through intersections.

I honestly wish the cops would have had any cause to fire on that guy. I could never be a cop. Once cornered... I would have unloaded 20 rounds in that piece of ****'s brain... just as a precaution. Now that ****-stain is going to cost the tax-payers gobs of money over his useless lifetime.

A bizarre night, indeed. The 2nd chase couldn't have started even an hour after the first, and it originated in North Hollywood, probably just a couple miles from where the first ended.

It's just to bad the first guy didn't kill himself, as well.

sorry to disappoint, but I don't remember a real chase on the Autobahn in my lifetime. At least not anyone ever being live in the media.
The closest thing to that I can remember off the top of my head was a hostage drama in 88 with a lot of media attention and a chase on the Autobahn that resulted in a shootout.

I thought it was Chris Brown too and the guy in the helicopter was alluding to it but was careful to not actually say it. I wonder who the hooker was that walked up to the car before the police let him kill himself.

If I am driving a rig or something similar and I see a car come barreling at me I am blocking the road. Let the ****er figure out what to do when he is about to go head to head with the grill on a 50 ton Mack.

is that so ? lets say I block the road , and this guy goes through the median and hits an on coming car ? I block the road , this guy hits me , turns out to be a 16 year old kid . then what ? No matter who it is with out permission I get sued .....no you dont block anything unless you are instructed by the Highway patrol , anything else results in a law suit.never ever leave your lane of travel
