First you are a sooner fan so I'll let that slide. Secondly, it is just pain fun to hate on the sooners.

The numbers don't lie...since when do you listen to the talking heads on Espin?

Most of the time I do this on purpose to encite the OU haters on this board and you guys never fail to please.

Yeah, Blake is a phenomenal athlete. He's kind of like Amare Stoudemire with a brain and a good attitude.

National Player of the Year which is hard to say considering I'm a die hard North Carolina fan.

Screw individual awards though, all I want is another National Championship, which is pretty freaking hard to win.

Ya, Being a UNC fan you should be gratefull of your National Championships. UNC has plenty. Some schools dont have any, some schools have never been to the Final Four (Purdue). Sorry, I am a Indiana basketball fan, so we are going through tough times now with that Sampson thing. We should have never given that guy a second chance from Oklahoma, I knew he would screw it up again.

So I am just gratefull for the 5 national Championships, regardless of the time period they came in.

Naw. I've moved just about everywhere. Was in bartlesville before I went to college. I like CU and Wisconsin. I know they suck. However, with as much crap as sooner fans talk down here the sooners became my least favorite team. So I always root for CU, Wisconsin, and anyone playing the sooners. For football that im usually on the losing end... until the national championship game. I can always count on the sooners to choke it away. My dad won tickets to the LSU OU game and I made a sign that said anyone but OU national champs. And sure enough it worked.

i agree completely, i was just pointing out how fans who watch the games are more informed and have better insight into players than the so called experts pulling in 6 figures a year.

Blake Griffin, 6-10, 250, BF/C, Soph., Oklahoma

Two more games, two more double-doubles. That brings the count to 20 in 24 games this season. Griffin averaged 21 points and 13 boards in a pair of wins against Iowa State and Colorado this week and the Sooners' big man is averaging 22.3 points and a nation-leading 14 rebounds this season.

He is amazing, and what I like about him a lot is that he probably can come right into the NBA and put up decent numbers right away.

rebounding is the stat that translates the best from college to the pros, and Blake is one of the best rebounders to come out of the NCAAs in a long time.

He'll be an instant impact NBA PF. He has good mobility for a big guy. Very powerful. And an excellent rebounder. He makes Kevin Love look like Udonis Haslem.
