Sean Smith CB/S Utah - The Orange Mane

Haven't seen him play a whole lot but seems to have alot of positives.

6'3" 215 lbs and hopes to run in the 4.3 range at the combine. Seems to have the whole package.

Is he going to be a better pro then Chung, Johnson, Delmis?

Anyone have any thought on him ?

Watched him play a few games this year. He good. The one thing i always noticed about this guy is hes a baller with good make up speed. He can catch up to a reciever and still make a play fast, even though he initially got beat. Thats just what i noticed about him. Hes projected as a FS in the NFL, and i have seen him climbing up boards into the 1st, high 2nd round.
Hes tall too, and has the FS frame with the attitude.
Hes just plain good.
Chung and Delmas are really soild SS prospects as to Smith being more of a ballhawk, centefielder FS prospect IMHO. Ive had been pimping RJohnson longer than anyone here, but his size has me a little wary of him.

nice take on him thanks. really I only saw him when he played Alabama and he did a nice job on julio jones

I was hoping he would fly under the radar and be available in the 3rd round.....so much for that! He is too big and fast to go unnoticed. He played cb in college and probably has better cover skills than some safeties that will be there in the 2nd. I agree, he good!

I live a couple of blocks from the University of Utah, attended several games and watched the others on tv. He is a special player, and I think he will play safety. It would be nice to get him in the 3rd, but I think he goes in the 2nd. I like Delmas and Chung a lot, I do not know if Sean will be better than those two, but he has a lot of upside.
