Default Americans’ Income Doubled

Richest Americans’ Income Doubled

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...wV87A&refer=us

Quote:
The average tax rate paid by the richest 400 Americans fell by a third to 17.2 percent through the first six years of the Bush administration and their average income doubled to $263.3 million, new IRS data show.
SUCCESS!

Clearly if we can only put through the competing bill our honorable Republicans have in the House that would further reduce their tax rate, we could have more of this success! Incomes doubling!!!

The problem would be that Trickle Down VooDoo economics has left us with a $10 trillion debt without bringing any jobs in.

So we should all become poor and get on social programs. That way no one in particular is left behind since we all will be left behind.

The average tax rate paid by the middle class and the poor also fell. People with children had their child credit doubled, those at the bottom end of the marginal bracket had their rate cut, those that got married didn't get pounded in the a$$ for doing so anymore.... I realize you bitter liberals can't get past the money at the top and that will never change.

That really is the truth. Check your tax returns people and you'll find that after 2001 you paid less in income tax no matter which bracket you are in by percentage..

And we have a big ass bill to foot for it. Maybe the people making a few hundred million should have to pay a little bit more eh? Or is a hundred million not enough these days? You're trying to make this issue answer to another issue. It's not about how much the poor or middle class pay. It's about how much the wealthy pay. Does anybody honestly need a hundred million dollars just to get by?

And it is possible it could be a hell of a lot worse without it. However, just keep your mind closed and keep spewing the liberal biased horse dung you are being fed.

I always find in humorous to hear the serfs sticking up for their feudal lords.

Also contributing to the $10 trillion debt (although much less). WTG!!!

Republicans have moved past the type of people who can justify not paying a tip at the restaurant to the type of people who can justify skipping out on the entire bill.

a.) because the country will collapse without income

b.) because businesses get profit from selling to the little man. the better off the little man, the better off businesses will be in the long run. a growing income gap leads to a contraction of an economy. progressive tax structures historically lead to thriving economies.

Republicans like to point to someone like Eisenhower as a successful Republican President. The top tax rate under him was 92%!

Why don't we just nationalize everything? That would solve our problems.

No it wouldnt , but having a share croppers system doesnt work either .......what righties have to learn is the working poor are just as much a drain on society as the homeless .......Some of you people are oblivious to what the real problem is and the way to fix it ......... Keeping Paris Hilton rich doesnt help anyone ......and she uses just as much infrastructure as I do if not more
