I was never really into Star Trek, but I did watch a lot of Next Generation as a kid. I'm a Star Wars junkie!

I always liked Star Trek, but I didn't really *get into* it until I was hooked by the Deep Space Nine series. I absolutely loved the direction that storyline took. In fact, I personally think that show changed the genre of sci-fi because we started to see more grandiose story arcs coming out of sci-fi shows with more long term political and strategical intrigue after that (Stargate SG-1 comes to mind), rather than just "adventure of the week" plots.

Speaking of Stargate - Stargate Worlds MMO comes out this year:
