Default Another Mock

Here is my best shot at a Mock Draft.

1. BJ Rajii NT B.C
2. Darryl Beckwith MLB LSU
3. Derek Pegues S Mississippi State
4. Sean Smith CB Utah
5a. Javon Ringer RB Michigan State
5b. Phillip Hunt DE Houston
6. Keenan Lewis C OSU
7a. Brandon Tate WR N.C.
7b Louis Sakoda K Utah

or

1. Rey Maualuga LB USC
2. Fili Moala DT USC
3. Derek Pegues S Missippi State
4. Darius Butler CB UCON
5a. Javon Ringer RB Michigan State
5b Morgan Trent CB Michigan
6. Ian Campbell OLB Kansas State
7a. Brian Robieski WR Ohio State
7b. Louie Sakoda K Utah

Now Ideally would would trade some of the late rounders to move up in the 3rd -4th rounds.

Sean Smith is not going to last into the 4th, he is a 2nd rounder, Brian Robiskie is going to be a 4th rounder when all is said and done. I like the 1st one, covers a lot of bases.

In the 2nd one I am not big on Moala, a bit of character concern, I think we are better off getting high character guys.

I prefer your first mock to the second as well. That would be a very fine draft.

There will never be another Mock.

I love the first mock, but I think Tate goes a little higher than that -- even with his ACL tear. Any news on how his rehab is going along with that? I doubt he'll be ready for Indianapolis -- but who knows.

I like his skillset, you can't teach speed or fluid hips. Tackling, can some times be coached and he brings good ball skills.

I've seen some people listing Robiskie as a 2nd rounder.

If he was available in the 3rd or 4th he'd be a steal.

I think Ringer is going to be late round prospect at best. Smaller guy (strong), with a lot of college carries that doesn't have much wiggle in the open field.

I dont see how some people can say this draft is all about defense and then go advocating a WR in the 3rd or 4th...and a WR at that.
