SEC Championship thread : LSU vs. Georgia - The Orange Mane

The SEC Championship and game of the week has #5 Georgia vs. #3 LSU.

LSU is looking for this win to not only win the SEC, but to advance to the National Championship game. They'll need some BCS help still, as USC is ranked #2, but a win over Georgia will certainly help their cause.

Georgia lost earlier in the year to LSU, in a game where they missed 3 FG's and had other big miscues in the game. They're big advantage is that this game will be played in their own backyard, in the Geogia Dome in Atlanta.

My personal opinion is that Georgia will pull off a very close game, say 27-23, and LSU is leftout of the Sugar Bowl and SEC title.

Again! I was not surprised that LSU won, but I expected a much closer game......the BCS is going to be interesting.....
