Colvin, Walker, and Foster could provide depth.

Other than that, I dont see much.
And we wont get Peppers, so I wont worry about that one

James Sanders would be a major upgrade at the FS position and may not cost an arm and a leg either.

Great list. I see a couple I like. Rodney Harrison, Rosevelt Colvin, Mike Wright, Ronald Fields, Julius Peppers, Darwin Walker.

Now for the people how say "they're old', "They suck". No $h1t. Really you, don't say. This isn't the FA market of 10 years ago were you can find a Bill Romo or Neal from the chiefs. Its hard to find good FA out there unless they are on a team that has cap trouble. They are all stop gaps. We've been lucky the last couple of drafts to get the players that we have. But we could get drafts like 2008 and 2006 or we could get 2007. So its going to take a combonation of both FA and the draft to right the defense

I agree, but I would think Spagnuolo will sell Atogwe on how he can flourish in his defense in St. Louis...

I can see Colvin coming in. The Patriots often don't sign vetern backups until later in the year, but his play down the stretch warrants an offer for a team like ours switching to the 3-4. He's only just on the wrong side of thirty and his pass rush skills aren't what they used to be, but he's intelligent and plays well dropping back in coverage.

I also like Mike Wright too.

We need players like this with experience in the 3-4 as we try to convert the likes of Moss and Thomas into 3-4 players.
