Why did you hire a guy a few years out of high school?

I think Spags would have been a much better choice for your team. Good luck with your boy wonder.

I agree. I would be much more worried about the Donkos if they had Spags

How would you even know? Just based on reputation alone? If Spagnuolo was really all that, don't you think he would have gotten one of the other gigs before the Rams decided to hire him?

I wouldn't "know" that is why I said I "think".

Ok. So, please enlighten us as to why you "think" Spagnuolo would have been a better choice.

Nobody cares what you think. Good luck with your pockmarked, incompetent, piece of crap head coach. I'm guessing the Chargers won't sneak in to the playoffs on a technicality with a .500 record next year, or ever again.

Your offense is on automatic pilot at this point. With the talent level as high as it is an offensive guru is not needed.

Your defense sucks. I would think a defensive minded coach would be the much better choice at this point.

And what would happen to the offense if the "defensive minded" coach wanted to do things his way? Don't assume things would be the same, offensively, if Spagnuolo took over.

As it stands, the offense will be fine and an emphasis will be put on the defense.

To echo what tsiguy wrote - there's a reason Spags went through so many interviews and didn't get a job before the Rams. If he really was the greatest thing out there, he would have been snapped up long ago.

Hey schmuck,

Believe it or not, if you look at stats and history, it doesnt friggin matter. Brian Billick was an offensive coach that always lead a defensive team. Tony Dungy was a defensive coach that led an offensive team. Just because McDaniels is the head coach, it doesnt mean he'll ignore the defense. Though your simple logic might seem to make sense, history suggests otherwise.

Hey now, that was the high water mark of the Chargers' franchise. Chargers' fans now can roam the streets proudly wearing their "2007 AFC Championship Game Participant" t-shirts.

Remember when Indy had those banners that said something like "2004 AFC Finalist" ugh, embarrassing.

My sentiments are pretty much aligned with SoCal's, but I don't think Shany will take a job till '10.

I figure he'll be eating Red Snapper with Baja in Cabos.

Is this a test of how far you made it through high school? a few years = 14 years?
