We need some sort of an appeals process so a pardon of someone
who did something especially egregious can be overturned.

The worst pardon was Marc Rich by Clinton.

Bush hasn't really done any controversial pardons other then a couple and I think one of those he went back on.

Bush has not abused this power like other Presidents have done IMO.

Bush will undoubtedly pardon Scooter Libby who played a crucial role in outing a CIA undercover agent Valarie Plame; who under deep cover working on the Iranian nukes and weapons grades plutonium.

Bush will definitely need to do blanket Pardons for the folks who participated and authorized TORTURE over the last 8 years as well.

Hell Bush may even try and Pardon himself! as well.

Correct! There are a few media-political pundits predicting Bush is waiting for his last day in office to announce his pardons so as to upstage the inaugural and to shove his finger in the faces of America to show just how untouchable and imperialistic his Presidency truly was over the last 8 years! "Constitution Be Damned".

Hell Bush is extremely pissed he's leaving office with 22% approval rating---He just doesn't get it!!!

There is nothing George Bush won't do to cover up his own insecurities. The man has been an abject failure in every aspect of his life. He was terrible at school. He was cowardly in the face of battle. He destroyed every business he ran. And he knows it.

But he buries it deep down inside. He puts on his fake swagger and pretends he earned his place in the world. He was born as American royalty and he thinks he built the empire. He has had everything handed to him and smashed it to pieces.

BUSH = ROME'S NERO!!

All kidding aside it will be very interesting to me to see how Bush handles his post presidency years.

Anyone think he will get the press and respect any of our currently living presidents get?

Well given that Bush will never be put on trial and the fact that all you need are 3-10 million Republican loyalist to pay for your speaking engagements and possible book deals he should do alright in small Republican circles. However on a national and international stage, Bush will become an after-thought.
