trades are not very common in the NFL anymore it seems, think they will pull any off, be it trading away or trading for?

I think that one or two trade and more than a few flat out releases.

I think we will make a few trades. I think there is a 50/50 shot that Dumervil gets traded, he has the most value right now, so it depends if they can find a place for him in the 3-4.

With the move to the 3-4, it's very possible. There are several players on this team that could be moved defensively. We don't have one player in our front 7 that we can say for sure will be an effective player in the 3-4. If I were the Broncos, I'd move as many of those guys as I could for picks to bring in 3-4 type players. We're scraping the whole thing on defense anyway, might as well get some young-blood on that side of the ball that's playing their natural positions.

Who is DEN going to trade?!?!
Most of the defense is pure crap, with th exception of a few players, one of which has a huge roster bonus. I could see maybe, maybe! a trade of Dumervil and Moss for draft picks, but thats about it. They have coachable potential, so a team might think that they are worth more than what that team would get in the draft. And thats a longshot. The only other option s to trade Champ. just sayin... More than likely for a player and a pick. Thats about it. |

I think the only move will be to move up in the draft, the rest will all be cuts, or releases.

2-3 trades to stockpile draft picks. IMHO we'll see a minimum of 2 defensive players traded for picks.
The mid rounds are usually loaded with decent 3-4 players. |

No trades, except on draft day and even then, just picks and no players.

What I meant was that Dumervils value is higher than it will be if we wait. He is coming of a season that wasn't impressive but with 26 sacks over the last 3 years, 24 year old, and in the last year of a very affordable contract and eligible for RFA next season he may actually fetch a bit of value.

do you guys think shanny was the guy who set up most of those trades? even wolf would have to admit we made out pretty damn well with trades when most teams weren't even thnking about doing that kinda thing. I really hope we keep that flexibility and open mind-set as we move through a new era of Bronco football.
