Pioli was seen packing up his office Tuesday afternoon, a Patriots source said.

Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio will replace Scott Pioli as vice president of player personnel, league sources told ESPN.

Pioli, 43, is close to Patriots coach Bill Belichick and has been with the Patriots for nine years.

Pioli should find a warm welcome in Kansas City. At the last Chiefs home game, shortly after the embattled Carl Peterson resigned after 20 years as president, general manager and CEO, several signs were spotted in the crowd proclaiming, "We want Pioli."

Funny you say that considering 3 of NE's so called best coaches throughout their best years are failures at other teams, but the first person to leave the front office (Dimitroff), has been a huge success for his team in Atlanta.

Bronco fans probably won't admit it, but this was a hell of a move by Clark and KC.
Pioli is an excellent talent evaluator and has done wonders for NE. He is a HUGE upgrade to KC and nobody can argue it.

Of course, they could have brought in a hood ornament and it would have been an improvement over Peterson. Pioli is a good hire for the Chefs. It will make it all the more pleasurable to kick your asses in the future. Too bad Pioli is bald. Maybe he can rent a mullet toupee?
