Adopt-a-Bronco:
VP John Elway
Default Statement from Bill Belichick on Josh McDaniels receiving Broncos HC job

"Josh McDaniels is one of the finest people and brightest, most talented coaches I have ever worked with. Since joining us eight years ago, Josh performed a variety of roles and excelled in every one of them. Between his work on defense, in scouting, player evaluation and coordinating the offense, Josh is a very well-rounded coach whose outstanding body of work speaks for itself. He is the product of a pure football environment which is evident in his approach to the game. On behalf of the entire Patriots organization, we thank Josh for tremendous success in New England and congratulate him and the McDaniels family for this most deserving opportunity for advancement."

Nice.

On a side note, I saw BB genuinely smiling at the National Championship last week.

I didn't sleep for 3 days. I was so freaked out.

I hate the Patriots, but I've always respected BB. Say what you want, he's the best coach in football.

They didn't finish his statement. He went on to say, "I do want to make it clear that I now officially hate him. And when we meet at midfield at our first game, I will neither acknowledge his existence or shake his hand. Furthermore all techniques that Josh may have learned here be it videography and/or reading a defense must stay here. We have also asked him to sign a hold harmless clause if the league should question any thing he may have done while a New England Patriot. Good Day"

He is the best coach in NFL no doubt. I just think he is a total jerk and for that I can't stand him.

That is quite an endorsement considering he blasted Mangini for leaving to early.

Why is B a jerk?

I've never seen a scintilla of evidence presented on this board to support this -- only bile and animus because B's been so successful.

The real jerk is the other B -- the guy from Baltimore.

Now there's a real jerk
