Default 3-4 Defense!

Been a long, long time since we have seen the 3-4 in Mile High.

Love the 3-4!

Unless we get a monster NT, I would hate to see this in Denver.

Dwayne Robertston is Stoked!

I think it's best. It will at least help purge the D players that need purging.

It's not like the season starts next week.

The franchise has an entire offseason to add talent! Free angency and the draft.

We have the linebackers/defensive ends to play around with.

It'll take a few years before we get our 3-4 personnel to the level that Nolan/Capers will want. A lot of these guys will be transitioned to their new roles but the long-term plan will definitely revolve around getting some 3-4 stalwarts (NT, OLB, DE) that we really don't have right now.

AFC Championship game this weekend - if you're a REAL fan of good football - watch 2 of the best teams (coincidentally both use the 3-4) beat the bejesus out of each other!
Watch it, record it, re-watch it! ... And HOPE we can play D half as good as that in '09!

Should be a GREAT day for football!

Then the Philli V Baltimore Superbowl the week after!

IF Bowlen and the new staff are agressive, they could get the 3-4 going in one year. Theres a bunch of FA 3-4 players out there this year. Good ones too.
But yes, they would have to be really aggressive, and then theres the assignment aspect of it with players. So it would be hard, but it can be done.

I will say this, if a team was going to switch to the 3-4 and they wanted to do it as fast as possible, Nolan and Capers are pretty much the best two guys to have to implement it.

Wesley Woodyard will be a big part of a new Bronco 3-4 defense - a good thing. The guy just makes plays.

3-4, 4-3 I don't care which it is. Both are fine schemes, the objective is to find players right now.
