Default 08/09 winning teams are almost all bird mascots

I think we should be looking at a more avian mascot..

And bird cages are made of steel, if that means anything.

I think Pitt. will make a heck of a run, and is my pick to win the SB after the way they played today. That D looks tough to score against.

I think BAL will upend PIT next week. It is very hard to beat a team 3 times, esp a quality team like BAL. BAL is just ****ing scary on defense right now.

This thread is like the chick that is in the football pool that picks teams based on mascots or colors of the uniform!

This place is a very elegant hotel with marble floors, chrysal chandeliers...an awesome view of the downtown skyscrapers...I got reservations there for Valentines night with my wife.

Now I have another reason to go!

That building has always been one of my favorites. I was born in Dallas, and last year when I visited my cousins showed me all the new buildup of downtown stuff near American Airlines Arena. Don't like the look of the arena (looks 50 years old), but it's pretty amazing the dozens and dozens of huge apartment and condo buildings they've put up near there.

My uncle worked for Southland Life ... when we were kids we used to go up to the top of that building when it was the tallest in Dallas, or maybe seond tallest.
