How about a solid defense effort and 3 TOs instead.

Proof that to win in January you need defense.

The hottest offense can cool and faulter and then it's the defense that needs to pull out a win.

Ravens and Cards won the turnover stat and won the games. The Cards defense brought it tonight. Then you add the Cards running game into the mix and you have a balanced offense with a defense ballhawking.

That's how you win, that's how Denver used to win.

Just have to look at the playoff's and see how far this franchise is away from getting real. O-Side, minus a stud RB, looks like a fantasy football dream team. But the defense is two years, millions of free agent dollars and draft picks away.

Well, considering the vet QB was Kerry Collins I would think this thread means nothing.

I wouldn't mind another QB if we didn't have so many holes. QB would be a luxury pick we don't have.

What's interesting is Cam Cameron, the HC of the Dolphins last year that went 1-15. Old dude went from the OC of the Chargers at 14-2 in 2006 to 1-15, now he's in the AFCCG with the Ravens as their OC.

OT - for an interesting read about that region of the world check out "The Road to Oxiana" by Robert Byron, pub. 1937. Also, "A Secret Pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina" by Richard Burton, pub. 1855.

Pedantic of me to post that here, but I like to plug those two travelogs every chance I get. If one likes to read, those are two interesting reads.
