New mock from January 2, 2009. How realistic is this scenario? |

I would love it but its not going to happen. IMO, he's head and shoulders above any other LB in this draft. That includes Maualuga.

GBN has tebow selected in the first, what confidence does that give you in this mock draft?

Curry falling to us is about as likely as me nailing Salma Hayak tonight.
not going to happen |

I really doubt this happens but the picks that he has in front of us dont seem like that big of a stretch. I know that Jacksonville's D sucked this year but they really dont have a WR worth crap on that team so Maclin isnt out of the question.

This has the ideal with 3 OTs and 2 Qbs, WRs and CBs going in the top 10. I doubt if Vontae goes that high - but it's the type of thing that happens in reality that makes te draft interesting - and impossible to predict!

The other thing I like in this scenario is the ability to move down and get another one of the better players on our board. If the staff isn't as high on Curry, guys like Maualuga, Mays, Raji, and Spikes are all potential trade-down targets. |

I really doubt DJ will go to Mike or Sam. I like DJ at Will. Would rather draft Curry and put him at Mike and have WW play Sam after Bailey gets hurt again.

DJ hates SAM. He'll leave if we make him play it.

Seen plenty of USC, OSU, and Florida games. Right now I'd rank the big school boys as Maualuga, Laurinitis, and Spikes. All of which are first round talents. In fact, I'd say they are top 20 talents. All I've been hearing from the Mane, Football's future, Scott Wright, etc. is that Curry is the most impressive talent at LB in the past 10 years. If that is indeed the case, this guy will be a top 10 pick. |
