Inexperience, no particular ahievements that stand out and I'm not impressed with his work with Romo, who looks like he's regressing. On the plus side he's supposedly very bright. I think there are much better candidates.

i agree, that is why i want an early playoff exit for the Giants, so we don't have to wait as much as a month and a half for them to be finished. I want our new coach here as soon as possible to get **** here straightened out.

I actually think Garret would be a good fit for us if he can get the right DC with him. The role of a coach is changing in these days. We don't need a smart or Xs and Os guy as the head coach any more. Coordinators have to be those guys. I believe we already have those guys in place on offense and all the new guy needs to do is lure in a good defensive mind as our DC.

What Denver needs for HC is some one like John Harbaugh - charismatic, organized and confident guy. He needs to come in and set the tone and clean up the existing system. Get rid of people who got in because of cronyism and have been feeding bad info to Mike. By all accounts Garret is very confident and organized guy. If he can hire a good DC, i think he will do alright.

Garrett is a great candidate. If you like your o-line (that's the highest paid in the NFL) letting Ray Lewis run through untouched 4 or 5 times in a game. And if you like only throwing to one receiver and the TE all the time. And if you like your "star" running back averaging 3.7 yards per carry. And if you don't like winning games in December. And if you like your quarterback having no leadership, no pocket presence, no accountability, and no ball security. And...see where this is going? Hiring Jason Garrett would be as bad as if we announced that we were trading Jay Cutler to the Lions for Dan Orlovsky straight up.

I don't know if Garett is the best candidate out there for Broncos but, IMO, he fits the profile of the coach i want for Denver. He is young, confident and very organized guy. His dad is a coach and both his brothers are also involved with cowboys and he has spent his whole life with football.

Blaming garrett for failures of cowboys is like blaming Mike shanahan for his failures during the raiders career. Jerry Jones interferes too much and Wade does not seem to have any control over the players. They have TO, Tank and pacman on that roster.

Their Ol and blocking schemes are coached by Howard Houck, widely considered the second best OL coach in nfl. If we bring him in we should use him like Bal did with Harbaugh. Give him good a OC and DC and let him handle the organization and player issues.

That is the truth. I want Mike Shanahan to succeed where he goes, so I pray he doesn't go to Dallas. No one can win with Jerry Jones calling the shots. I hate the Cowboys almost as much as the Chargers and Raiders. Maybe more, since I live amongst their arrogant fans (sadly its only a few that give the rest a bad name, but those few are intolerable). I also cringe when I think that we tried to bring in TO a couple of years ago.

But to get back to Garrett, I certainly don't blame him for the Cowboys' struggles, but I don't see him as the genius that the media has labeled him. If we are going to bring in an offense-oriented HC, I want McDaniels much more than Garrett. That being said, I want a high energy defense-oriented coach more than either of them. McDaniels is the only OC that I would really be excited about hiring.

I am curious, when we play Bal the off game plan and blocking schemes will be decided by Bates and Dennison so how does matter if we hire him?

At the time we thought of bringing him in, it would have worked. Shanahan is one of the only coaches in the league who would be capable of keeping TO under control.

Also, no matter where he goes, everyone knows he is a stubborn bastard and it is his way only. If he wanted to go to Dallas he would tell Jones right off that he was going to run the team how he wanted, and Jones would either agree or look for someone else.

What in the world would make you think that they still have jobs. Bates maybe, but there's no way Bowlen meddles and makes the new HC keep staff from the previous regime.

yuck--TO and Romo have both come out and stated that other teams knew what they were about to do this Season on offense --The Ravens in particular. Lack of innovation on JG's behalf.
