Do you see any of our big name players being traded cut or whatever. I know money wise it might be impossible but, can you see anything like this happening?

The only thing anyone can do at this point is speculate.
The only thing we know for sure is that we're going to see change. |

Dre was gone whether Shanny stayed or not. Champ won't be gone. Just my gut feeling.

This is probably the most genius political idea ever. I mean, its basically what politicians do anyway, but its still genius!

I've said it in every thread thus far, these players are professional footballers and are all contracted beyond 2009. They play for the Denver Broncos NOT Mike Shanahan.
If any of them leave in the near future it wont be because they want to go, it'll be either due to the new Coaching Personnel wanting to deal them or for contractual/cap reasons especially in Bly's case. DJ for one will be going nowhere considering he just got $11m guaranteed from us in a new 5 year deal. That kind of contract is hard to shift for both teams. Champ Bailey wont be going anywhere unless the Broncos want to trade him and get an excellent package in return. Bly's the odd one out here and may walk if the new staff feel he is not worth the additional $3m Option Bonus he's due in March. |

Sodak my horrid point was this: I think Dre Bly was gone after this year, way before Shanny got canned. His cap figure was too high and he is getting older. Champ Bailey won't be gone and won't want to leave based on Shanny getting canned. Thats just my gut feeling. |

i have no answer for any players coming or going, until we know who will be coaching this team.
It is all but certain it won't be Pioli and McDaniels, because it seems like Goodman is our GM now, and he will be making the choice. i am thinking the will pick a defensive guy to be HC with Bates staying as a OC/assistant HC |

How many coaching changes occur every year and how many big names follow those coaches who aren't free agents
![]() Just cos it's Shanahan doesn't mean his band of merry men are going to follow him. |

The only problem with cutting Bly is that he just got a 18 million signing bonus last year. The Broncos might cut him anyway because he is not worth what the Broncos pay him.
